Fear

Overcoming fear & bravery is the main point in a lot of books. I am rereading Divergent but I am anotating while I read, and I noticed how much overcoming fear is in the book. Tobias/Four says so many amazing, and inspiring quotes; like it makes my heart melt (because ya-know Theodore is pretty cute). I made a list for you guys...(btw they all come from Tobias)
  • "I ignore my fear,"
  • (Okay I ahd to put this one in here) "We believe in ordinry acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
  • "Be brave, Tris,"
  • "Sometimes they do. And sometimes new fears replace them"
  • "But becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your, and how to be free from it, that's the point."
  • "I nod. I used to think the Dauntless were fearless."- Tris
  • "Fear doesn't shut you down; it only wakes you up"

The 100 is on Fire! (laughing too hard)

I am still super excited about the 100 pageviews! It has only been one month and 100 pageviews that is just... supercaliragilisticexpialidocious (I may or may not have had to look in the best dictionary for students for that one!) anyways... you guys are awesome, and I think with you 100 viewers we can make Project Paperback happen! To all you readers, and future readers thank you! You guys are what makes dreams happen!

Once again, The fire is catching, and if we burn you burn with us!, Hails

I have been thinking for a while now and realized I should do something because there is so much evil in the world whether it's bullying to fighting in an arena (ok that was an obvious one) i wnat to do something ot make people smile and think I should do something too. This is the most important part I am starting a project and I want you to help out this is Project Paperback. Project Paperback is a non-profit the only benefit is making someone smile and just feel good. To become a paperbacker you must do 4 things ...

  1. Read a popular book
  2. Jot down a couple notes p.s. I suggest reading a book at a libary (don't check it out)
  3. Make the quote inspiring
  4. Tell others
When you become a paperbacker post it in comments.
Thanks, Hails
So we have gotten to the 3 week mark! Tomorrow Febuary 26 will make it extactly 3 weeks until Insurgent comes out, so I am having another contest, but instead of emailing it to me just post it in the comments. Ok so... that sounds like a music group that I love (OK Go)... off track so anyways I what you guys to post a fandom joke. Sound good? Let's get started.

Love

Love always seems to be at the center of almost all YA books for example Hunger Games;  Katniss has to choose between Peeta, and Gale. Why is it always team           ? Why don't we root for the girls? I mean it always seems like some girl has to fall in love, some guy has to protect her. I want to have a book where the girl is string enough to protect herself and not need a man. Don't get me wrong I like the romance, but I like there just needs to be a strong female character who does not need a man to save her. Even in Divergent Four/Tobias saves her... well she saves him ebery once in while, but that is not the point. I want a female who doesn't fall in love with some boy, I want a girl who is "normal" and accidently saves someone and gets credit, but she doesn't a boy gets it and nobody knows this because she saved the boy. I want something like this. Let's make this a contest just email me haileyf1029@gmail.com your story and I will anounce the winner in a few weeks.

  • Write a story about a heroine, but she doesn't fall in love
  • Use a fake name when you email me
  • Lastly be your fierce self

Well Valentine's was a couple days ago and I was wondering who is your fandom crush or like (if it's not to secret post it on coments) I have three I will give you hints on who they are okay...
  1. He is a "cousin" of Katniss, he has dark hair, and a great hunter who is he?
  2. He goes by the name "Four", he is scared of his father, and he is dauntless who is he?
  3. He was in the Hunger games twice, he was from district four, and he was great with a trident who is he?

Fanart. on We Heart It
Saw this on and thought this should happen; except some finales would end with a flood wherever I am watching tv. *spoiler* Divergent. Thought of some other books too, but who needs any more spoilers?

I was seriously thinking about this a few days ago

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

I found this on Pinterest and thought yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I don't understand why this hasn't happened... yet. I mean really why not? These I think are the greatest authors ever. Well... they don't have Marissa Meyer, but that is not the point. This needs to happen.
